Agora Paris
Centrally located hotel so great as a base for walking to many major tourist sites. Metro at the end of the street and lots of cafes and brasseries close by. Staff friendly and helpful. Small but adequate room and very warm which was great as the temperature outside was below freezing the whole weekend. Not very sound proof (we were woken up by people next door coming in at 02.00 and the shower was tiny. Reviewed by Emma S, who stayed in February 2012
Exactly what i'd expected - in a good way
The room is small but perfect location to base yourself in Paris for a couple of days. Right in the heart of the Marais district - you don't want to stay in any other part of Paris. Reception were pretty nice - not over the top - but not rude either. Reviewed by Kaelib R, who stayed in October 2011
bring earplugs
Stayed here for 2 nights. They had a problem with my credit card due to their processing when booking which I tried to resolve over the phone and by email - this took an hour and was not resolved until I went in person. It took 5 or 6 phone calls which consisted of being left on hold , hung up on etc etc and asking for my full credit card details which I was unhappy to do for obvious reasons. Horrendous customer service - if i had had time to rebook at that point I would have done.
The hotel room was small as most in paris but it was clean and we had 2 small balconies with a chair - which was great. Location great - the metro rer is right next to the hotel and this was a big plus. The area is a bit touristy for my liking but 5 minute walk into the marais and pompidou, easy to get everywhere and ultimately, I think its good value for money - but if its hot - there is no air con so be warned. Also, the walls are absolutely paper thin - we could hear the man next door on the phone as if he was in the room, so bring some earplugs. Reviewed by DANIEL C, who stayed in July 2011
Will return
Most excellent despit no hot water for two mornings. Staff friendly and helpful Reviewed by Graham B, who stayed in May 2011
Good location
This was quite an expensive accommodation compared to the quality of the hotel. On the other hand everything worked and everyone was polite, so there is actually nothing particular to complain about.

Location is excellent just 100 meters from Chatelet les Halles metro, which is a crossroad for many metrolines, and the cafe cross the street was nice.
Room was quite small but had everything you need: bed, toilet and shower. Unfortunately there was also clearly visibly mould, and the air was a little foul.
We might stay here again due to the location, but otherwise probably not. Reviewed by Patrick B, who stayed in March 2011

Is very good. The staff are very friendly. The hotel is very close to all tourist sites. We are very happy to find this hotel. Back again Reviewed by G CANDELA-ARISTIZABAL, who stayed in March 2011
This is a pleasant hotel in a good position. The rooms are small but comfortable. The shower was
tiny and really quite difficult to use. The room was very quiet although sound traveklled through the dividing walls quite easily. THere was a lift to the upper floors which was fine though again really quite small.
We would certainly use the hotel again. Reviewed by Robin Davey, who stayed in January 2011
Small but cute
The room was rather small but very cute and clean. I wouldnt recommend the tiny shower or hotel lift to tall or large customers but other than that it was lovely. The decoration is very kitsch and different in every room and we were lucky enough to have a little balcony too. Reviewed by Lucy S, who stayed in September 2010
