Hotels Paris Reservations

The Alane Hotel is at best a 2*, and far from a 3* hotel as advertised. The general area of the hotel is scruffy and rundown. This is replicated in the hotel, which is dirty and poorly maintained - is a vacuumed room too much to ask? The bathroom fittings were dirty, mouldy, and cracked, but bleach had obviously been splashed around to make it seem like it had been cleaned. Reviewed by Simon B, who stayed in September 2011

Rooms spartan and small, we got there late crashed for the night and left first thing, ideal for what we needed (something a short walk from the station), had no problems with the staff but this really is a basic hotel (noise from next door flushing toilet, etc) but only worth it if you can get a good price Reviewed by Charles W, who stayed in September 2010
