"Although our room was small, the Ambassade is good value for money in this quiet part of Paris. There is a buffet breakfast available, but it's rather pricey and there are cheaper alternatives in the area. There are bars and restaurants nearby where we ate in the evenings and it's handy for the metro stops at Victor Hugo and Boissiere if you want to go further afield or you could walk up to Etoile or down towards the river easily enough. You can leave your luggage in the basement - useful if, like us, you're not leaving Paris until late afternoon."
