weekend break
a clean comfortable and convenient hotel that provided a good base as we were out and about most of the time. excellent value for money. Reviewed by d murphy, who stayed in November 2010
Will suit if on a budget, good central location
Basic room however it was an ok standard (very hard bed). En-suite shower and toilet very small, would not suit anyone with a large frame. We went in September and would imagine in the summer the room gets very hot as there is no air conditioning. Chose the hotel due to price and past reviews, have stayed in Paris before in a room which was about 30 euro more per night however faced with the same situation of price versus smarter room I would still opt for the Bel Oranger as at the end of the day you only need the hotel to sleep in. Would not recommend the hotel as a romantic break as it was very basic, however would recommend for city break on a budget. The location was in a quiet street with nearby good restaurants and bars and also very central for all museums and sights.

Not a bad place to stay
Very simple and basic hotel in an excellent location in Paris. Lady on the desk was a great help and very friendly and the night desk man was very pleasant..
My only qualm was that i had to pay the City tax twice and only realised when i returned to London.

Good quality refurbished room.
Hotel recently refurbished & rooms very nice. Of particular note: nicely done out bathroom and shower with excllent flow of water plus good lighting in the room with sufficient strength to work by - both these features in short supply in many Paris hotels.
