Good central location, nice rooms but no internet and pooor breakfast
I was very impressed with the central location, right next to CDG etoile, and I had a brilliant view of the Arc de triomphe from my room. The common areas of the hotel were well maintained but the quirky antique furniture gave some character.
I was only disappointed by the internet service, I had read on late rooms reviews that web was unavailable on some floors so I emailed hotel staff when booking and requested a floor which had wireless available, but found the signal too weak to used, the wired connection did not work in my room. When I asked at reception i was told to bring my lap top down and work at the desk. The PC that was available in reception was also pay per minute on the internet. My collegue was on the ground floor and had to pay for a charged net service (40 euro for his 4 day stay), as the hotel wireless was too weak, even right next to reception.
Also the breakfast was the usual continental selection but rather than being buffet style one of each breakfast item was on the table ready for each diner. I did not like this, would have preffered a buffet selection Reviewed by J Pranger, who stayed in June 2010
