Room was not the one booked
We booked a king size double room and ended up with a 2 double rooms with kitchen. The accomodation was cramed, decor cheap except for the bathroom which was very nice. Reviewed by christine g, who stayed in August 2011
Location location location!
They say location is the thing. This hotel is in a great location. It's a 10 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower and Champs Elysee and the Metro is 2 minutes away.
Room was more than adequate - I know others have commented on how small the rooms are, but the hotel is an old town house so you can't really expect any more.
Breakfast is actually good value - you can go out and get breakfast for about 8 Euros, but for 13 Euros you get eggs, croissant, bread, cereal, coffee ... more or less what you want.
Would definitely stay there again. Reviewed by S Bull, who stayed in July 2011
Great hotel shame about the taxi used by the hotel
This was a great hotel for location, cleanliness, size of room free internet access and comfortable accommodation. The breakfast was an additional 13 Euros so we didn't bother as the cafe next door offered similar at 8 Euros. Everything was great with the stay at the hotel until the very end when we booked a taxi via the hotel reception and a driver with a ramshackle car took us to the airport and charged us 67 Euros! The taxi to the hotel from the airport was less than 50 Euro. The taxi sign at the reception was misleading as we thought we were going to be charged 34 Euro. Just left a bit of a bad taste in what would have been a perfect stay and was a bit of a learning curve for us not to book a taxi from the hotel but go to the taxi rank. Great location
Cannot fault the location of this hotel, being so close to the Eiffel Tower. The rooms were pretty small, but this was to be expected for a city centre hotel, and it was really clean and tidy. The furniture was a bit worn and the decor was a tad dated (a simple matter of taste maybe...?). Our room was at the back of the hotel which meant a view over other rooms and rooftops, but this also meant that it was quieter that I expect it would have been had we been looking over the main road. The staff on reception were really friendly and always happy to give advice. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel - there were lots of places a short walk away that were great for a coffee and a croissant, though. Reviewed by susan h, who stayed in April 2011

Fantastic room and friendly staff!
Room was fantastic - comfy bed, very spacious, quaint french balcony with door access. Very clean and new white bathroom - no mould present, and shower was powerful. Table and chairs at the end of the bed and flatscreen tv were great benefits (although only one english channel - BBC News). Staff were very friendly and were happy to provide sight seeing advice. Hotel was very well located - only 10min walk to Effiel Tower and was close to many patisseries, french cafes and restaurants. Would recommend staying there.
