Pleasant stay
I stayed here for one night in a twin room with my mum. The location was great, near to Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est. We found the reception team to be very kind and helpful. The room was pleasant and had everything we needed for our stay. Reviewed by Anna T, who stayed in October 2011
Location is perfect to go around City Centre !
I decided to stay in this hotel after reading reviews in Laterooms.com. Location of the hotel is perfect to go around city centre, is literally no more than 5 minutes walk from the metro station Gare de l'Est. One stop away from Eurostar station Gare du Nord and tourist area is closed by. All reachable by metro less than half hour. We arrived quite early but room was not ready, left the luggages and came back in the evening. Receptionist is very friendly and helpful. We booked cosy double room for 2 nights stay during the weekend. I find the room quite small than my expectation, there is not enough space to move around. No tea/ coffee facilities in the room- (you can order), no bath shower only. Size of the bed is excellent, king size, very comfy. Decoration throughout the hotel is very modern, nice decor. In the evening and early morning is quite noisy if you need to open the window for fresh air. Lots of music and sound of children playing in neighbourhood. . For a short weekendbreak is fine, and if we do not need to spend much time in the hotel. Apart of that, we did have a good rest in the hotel. We will definitely come back to stay again if we go to Paris next time. There is also small supermarket ,"Franprix" 2 minutes away from the hotel which is quite handy if you need to get some snacks. Oh, one thing is quite interesting, lift is very small, is only fit 2 people with luggages in one go. Reviewed by I Arai, who stayed in July 2011
Hotel was ok but in summer could do with air conditioning, also very noisy at night if you have the windows open, but overall not bad hotel for the price. Reviewed by Gary B, who stayed in June 2011
Clean, friendly, affordable, great location
We chose this place because it was walking distance from Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est but far enough away to be quieter and on a friendlier looking street. The welcome was friendly and English was no problem, the room and other areas were clean, tastefully renovated, and reasonably quiet (small of course, but expect that in Paris). The location was good for local eating and bars, as well as having good station and Metro access. The breakfast option was good if you want to save time, but eating out is more exciting if you're on holiday. We were very pleased with our choice and would definitely use it again. Great stay, gorgeous room!
We stayed in a Cozy room and it was really nice, very modern and it was a decent size for Paris, good value for money. We had 2 windows with Juliet balconies which overlooked the street below. Everyone on reception was really welcoming and happy to help.
The area up towards Gard de Nord is a little sketchy so I would recommend getting a taxi to the hotel although it is only a short walk.
We went to Hotel de Nord for a meal which is near the hotel towards the river, and it was fantastic.
We would definitely stay there again :)

Friendly and helpful staff at the reception desk. The bathroom could've done with a bit more of a careful clean but then I'm fussy! Small room and smaller bathroom but fine for the short stay. Comfy bed. Nice decor throughout. Reviewed by Claire C, who stayed in April 2011
Plesant and happy stay at the Hotel soft... Loved having the push bikes located directly outside!!
Hotel was great.. Rooms were lovely, a little small but cosy. The location of the hotel was brilliant. Situated outside were push bikes you could hire and drop off at many locations around the city. The staff were extremely friendly and very professional. Also spoke very good English and recommended various places to visit and restaurants to eat in. Would definately stay at this Hotel again.
