"Booked as a last minute as our usual hotel was fully booked. On first glance, I did worry about what we'd walked into as the hotel is very dated. However, after meeting the friendly receptionist and heading into the smallest lift in the world to get to our room, we were pleasantly surprised.
Again, the room was dated, but there were 2 huge windows letting in lots of light, and a cute little view over the street to watch the world go by. The bed linen was clean, and unlike other hotels I've been to, there were spare pillows and blankets on hand in the wardrobe.
The only down-side, was that the shower was very small, and definitely not suitable for people on the larger side.
We were centrally located, with grocery stores near-by, and within easy reach of the restaurants and Metro at Republique.
