Holiday in Paris
I found the room to be clean and tidy although the carpet in the room that we occupied needs to be replaced as it is stained and a little worn. The room was also adequate in size for the two of us.The staff were plesant and helpful. I would not recommend the English breakfast as it was terrible. However overall we were happy and would stay there again. Reviewed by C Hughes, who stayed in April 2012

Great find in an Expensive City
This hotel was on a quiet street at night, however the hotel was lovely. When I was expecting the worst from Paris accommodation, this hotel was truly wonderful at a great price drop on Late Rooms. The staff were mostly friendly and willing to give advise, especially when I asked where the night spots were in Paris. The room was amazing, beautiful pillows, plush decor, Cute LCD tv. The only thing was I couldnt work out how to cool the room, as the radiator pipe was hot all the time, or find the bath plug. There was no kettle, but so many cafes around to have a coffee, that didnt matter. I did get a bit of smoke smell in my room from the courtyard, but there are a lot of smokers in Paris! It is very close to the lively Place du Clichy and Blance area where the Moulin Rouge can be found. And not to far from Sacre Coeur, and Montmarte which is perched on a hill overlooking Paris - beautiful at night. Very close to lots of Metros. I would recommend this hotel. Superb value for the price
A little hotel round the back of the Gare St. Lazare. Very clean and modern and friendly, though very busy around reception. A great location. Highly recommended Reviewed by Joanna S, who stayed in August 2011
Clean and elegant but very small
Not enough pillows; one small one each and, when asked, staff were unable to supply supplementary pillows. Lights functioned in a bizarre way; couldn't put on bathroom light without turning on bedroom light- not helpful at night! Breakfast was pricey- 8 Euros 50. Great location, lovely room
I had read reviews before I booked, but did not encounter any of the negative issues raised! The rooms were clearly mapped. there were 2 lifts and 2 sets of stairs, so definitely perfectly safe in terms of fire exits- contrary to the complaint of one reviewer.I thought my room was larger than others I have stayed in. The bed was comfortable and I had 2 nice pillows & duvet on it. The airconditioning worked efficiently. My room was at the back of the hotel and I had no issue with noise. My only complaint is that the internet charges are exorbitant(about 20 euros per 24hrs if memory serves me).Staff were friendly, informed and helpful, I would happily stay here again and thought the hotel was delightful with more communal sitting area than I would expect. HOTEL DE LA FLECHE D´OR
Great location, basic, but clean and tidy well presented main lobby area. Room had fully functioning amenities and a nice little widescreen TV to boot. Clean, tidy, well presented, however it is a little small. No complaints. Best thing is the location. Cafe's, shops and and tourist attractions nearby, but not in the midst of tourist melee. Metro is less that a 5 minute walk away. If you can, pay a little extra to know that you're staying in a decent accommodation like this. Will stay here again.

Fantastic location, great price
Absolute bargain on laterooms.com. Ideally located for our needs. Really lovely room, very clean and well presented. Highly recommended, would definitely stay again. Reviewed by Tori T, who stayed in April 2011
Small hotel near St. Lazare
Basically a small hotel shoehorned into an existing terrassed building. The room was understandably therefore small - fine for single occpancy but would have been tricky if occupied as a double. En suite basically functioned and the bath was deep and the water hot.
The biggest problem was access. The signage from the lift gave no guidance to my room and another guest kindly showed me where it was - at the end of a labyrinth. The most serious aspect was that I could see no evidence of an emergency escape route - let alone guidance to where it might be. In a fire I believe this hotel would be a death trap. Less importantly, the call button on the only lift was not working on the morning I left. Reviewed by David Cooke, who stayed in March 2011

Reasonable standard of hotel without the frills in great location within 5 mins of Pigalle and St. Lazare Station and only 20 mins walk from Champs Elysees. Room comfortable, clean, with good facilities and fair decor. Staff are there to service the hotel rather than to look after guests - service lacks inspiration, smile or urgency. The location of the hotel was very convient very close to the train station, the staff where friendly and helpful, the actual room was very grotty, there was mould all over the walls. The shower was not very powerful nor warm, i would not stay in this hotel again and glad i was in there very little! Reviewed by LISA K, who stayed in January 2011

A lovely little hotel, 2 minutes away from Saint Lazarre metro (which is huge and on many lines). Room was comfortable and very clean; staff in the hotel were lovely too. No complaints at all; I would consider staying here again. Reviewed by P Thomas, who stayed in January 2011
