Faultless
I had researched loads of hotel in various districts in Paris for a short break i was planning, Having read a number of visitors comments I chose the Elysa Luxembourg and wasn't disappointed. Our room was on one of the higher floors on a corner, it was very clean and compact, I expected it to be fairly small, aren't the majority of city hotels? but it wasn't claustrophobic!...The view from our balcony were amazing! Jardin du Luxembourg on 1 side & the Eifel Tour on the other!!...The location of the hotel was excellent too, on a direct metro line from Charles de Gaulle Airport and walking distance to Notre Dame, the Louvre & the Tuillerie Gardens.I wouldn't hesitate to use this hotel again and would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a hotel in Paris. Our first time in Paris
The quality location and the price of the hotel was very good well situated for most of the main sites. The accomodation was clean and comfortable and a good size room and bathroom with shower. We did not try the breakfast so cannot comment. The only small criticism would be to have provided more milk and tea bags per day, as we feel that the opportunity to have two hot drinks is not asking too much. Appart from this the hotel is well placed and excellent value for money . Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends. Reviewed by M Frys, who stayed in May 2011
Pleasant
The hotel is conveniently situated next to Jardin de Luxembourg and the pantheon. The staff were extremely helpful with attending to our needs allowing us to use the high chair for our daughter (10 months old) throughout the day when needed (useful as many of the eateries in Paris don't provide high chairs). The lift was a little small but the staff let us leave the buggy in the office on the ground floor. The room was small but ok for our needs and price was par for the course for Paris. The staff were always polite and assisted where possible. Reviewed by Andrew B, who stayed in March 2011
Good, nice hotel in the heart of the City
I liked this hotel very much. The room is quite small, not impressively furnished, but the bed quality is pretty good so the quality of the bathroom. The location is strategic, close to the bus 21 stop (which brings you to Opera) and the RER-B stop (Luxembourg) to easily go to and from the airport. Helpful and nice staff.
I would definitively come back there. Reviewed by Domenico V, who stayed in October 2010
Perfect Location
Lovely hotel. Good sized room (505) with a large balcony that had a view of the Eiffel Tower. The location is perfect the metro station is about 2 mins away, there are loads of places to eat and drink locally and the gardens are very nice. Will book there again! location, location, location
Adjacent to Luxembourg Gardens, next to a metro stop, opposite a few bars, good location, tidy and clean rooms, typical Paris hotel, cosy is the word, if you are more than 11 stone use the stairs, the lift is very small, but what the hell. We enjoyed our stay, the only minus is the 12.5 Euros each for b/fast, give it a miss its just not worth it, 5 Euros yes but 25E for a couple, is a bit over the top.

Fantastic Location, Would Stay Again
The hotel is in a fantastic location, just yards from a metro station which is only three stops from Le Gare du Nord. Great area, loads of bars and eateries and only a short walk to Notre Dame.
The only real fault we found was the bathroom, having a shower over bath with no curtain which flooded the room every time we showered. Our friends were in 401 which had been modernised and was much much better (we were in 301).
All in all we'd stay there again but insist on room 401 or any other room with shower, not bath. Reviewed by Andrew P, who stayed in October 2010
Great location
The hotel is about a minute away from the rer stop (so no changes needed from eurostar's gare du Nord which is also rer). It's a really good location for restaurants, and for bars (and more restaurants!), rue mouffetard is not far away. Once we were there, we hardly used the rer or metro as so much is within walking distance.
The room size is reasonable; not large by any means but not cramped, which in Paris is a bonus! Reviewed by M Millar, who stayed in May 2010
