Hotel Plassy
Staff were very helpful and no problems with v. late check-in, but it is certainly two star but clean and basic. Nice area and accessible. Reviewed by B Dawson, who stayed in May 2011
poor quality service and accommodation
Despite a telephone conversation during the day to confirm my [long standing] booking, my rooming requirements were altered from twin rooms to double by the time I arrived (four rooms booked for a business travel party). The only alternative was to take an extra room, which was offered free of charge, but was water damaged and awaiting repair.
The receptionist, although reasonably amenably, chatted to a friend on a mobile phone throughout the entire painful checkin process.
The room was small but appeared to be fairly clean, albeit dimly lit. Window non-openable due to broken handle but aircon was working well. Toilet and shower facilities clean and acceptable.
Vehicle access is difficult and parking non-existant even through the night, so advise you to look on google streetview if you're bringing a car.
This hotel is probably best suited to a one night stopover for a City break, anything beyond that i'm sure there are much better value hotels in better locations. The four rooms for one night cost just under 500 Euros.....

1 Day sleep over in Paris
The otel is very close to the eifel tower (10 minute walk) - easy to get lost though as it is a tiny street somewhere in between the main streets. Shops and shoppings centre close by. Staff speak english and were helpful. Taxi to busses for Beauvais airport cost about 8 Euros, further 15 Euro for the bus. Reviewed by Manfred Rittmann, who stayed in April 2011
nice hotel in parisien street
nice hotel, good location, near metro, near shoping and restaurants Reviewed by Thiago V, who stayed in October 2010
Great little hotel in safe, bustling location, with friendly, helpful staff.
Hotel was just what I hoped for! Very safe location for this mother & teenage daughter trip! Yet on bustling, pedestrian street, great shopping boutiques, convenient to two metro lines and 15 mins walk to Eiffel Tower. Bought our breakfast and coffee in boulangerie outside our door every morning! Room, not large, but spotlessly clean, recently and pleasantly renovated, v good quality. Bathroom large and better than most 5* hotels. Staff very helpful; setup table in courtyard for me one day so I could eat the watermelon I just purchased! Called restaurants and stores, very friendly. Hotel very suitable for adults, not children as public area very small and limited. Was fine for my teenager who loved the boutiques and nearby Musee Marmottan-Monet and Bois de Boulogne. While slight disadvantage being at one end of Paris, would trade that convenience for choice of metros and great neighbourhood location and price/value for money.
