Hotels Paris Reservations

Had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Got a great deal through Laterooms.com and everything worked out beautifully. The Hotel's location was excellent with lots of great sights and places within easy walking distance but also a surprisingly quiet spot. Staff were friendly and helpful and, although it was a relatively big place, it had an intimate and personal feel about it without anything feeling at all 'pushy'. Our room was very comfortable and very clean and tidy - we even got an upgrade without asking which made for even better value for money. I would definitely recommend it and will be back (providing we can secure a similar deal). The only downside was that the restaurant was closed (worth checking when you book) but great restaurants within walking distance so no problems. Reviewed by Paul Morris, who stayed in August 2011

Excellent location, grand hotel feel to the place. My accommodation was spacious, well kept and quiet - despite overlooking a major street. The bathroom too was spacious. Some of the chrome work in the bathroom getting dull through wear and tear though. Main issue is the cost. I have rated it 4 out of 6 on basis that I was paying a 50% reduced rate. Customer service can be a bit intrusive. I had to adopt habit each night when I returned of putting 'do not disturb' on door least the porter interupt with sweets and to check if I had any requirments. On other hand the bar service was good - the waiter recalled the orders from one day to the next, and made safe a coat that had been left behind. Reviewed by Brian M, who stayed in November 2010

Our stay could not have been better. The staff were superb including the concierge. The room was very spacious and bathroom was exceptionally clean. I believe it was worth the price. Reviewed by w davis, who stayed in September 2010

This was an excellent hotel, great position, very very clean and very attentive staff. However the aircon in the room was a bit old and had very limited effect, especially as this was an extremely hot day and night. Other than this is was very good. Reviewed by N King, who stayed in July 2010

Stayed in double room on first floor overlooking front of hotel, great period features - high ceilings, panelling etc; also full length windows opening onto balcony which was easily accessible and great for views onto Place Vendome. On the down side the overall maintenance of the room gave the impression that it was past its former glory but for me that added to its appeal and feeling of authenticity. Also the air conditioning didnt work all that well but simply left windows ajar and enjoyed the breeze. If you want a clean friendly hotel in a good location with atmospheric rooms yet all modern facilities this is for you. Reviewed by Frances L, who stayed in June 2010
