"I booked this hotel based on other peoples great reviews, and I must say it does live up to its merits. It is in an extremely convenient location: 3 train stops from Gare du Nord station and 6 stops from St.Michel which is slap bang in the middle of Paris, right on top of the river with Notre Dame 3 minutes walk away. Brilliant. And the reason for going to St. Michel is because the agency for booking tours and cruises is there. The Hotel is clean and the staff were very helpful. The rooms are nicely decorated and furnished to a high standard. A very pleasurable 1 night stay that was only tainted by 2 small problems. We had booked requesting a double room but actually got a twin with the beds pushed together. Not nice for a romantic break. And we were surprised not to find tea or coffee making facilities, although a small fridge is provided to keep any of your own drinks, or even snacks, cold. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely book there again."
