Plaza Opera Paris
Good location. Room small but it was good for one Reviewed by Mohamed A, who stayed in May 2012
Lovely hotel
View of the Eiffel Tower from our balcony, nice hotel and friendly. A bit pricey but then it is Paris. Reviewed by William V, who stayed in June 2011
1st time to Paris
Hotel Plaza Opera was ideally situated for first time travelers to Paris. Close to the metro, and a short walk to nearby shopping and tourist attractions, finding our way around Paris was that bit easier! The hotel itself, the ensuite bathrooms are very spacious, beds a bit smaller than your regular sized beds, although I found them just as comfy. A clean, well presented room however lacked amenities. There was no tea making facilities or drinking water. There is no restaurant facility for food except for breakfast which is 8e per person for toast, stale croissants and juice. We brought back a pizza one night, and reception advised this was not allowed, that no food or drink were allowed in the rooms. Their tone and manner was very dismissive, we were understandably taken aback. As a customer paying for the room, we expected more. Reviewed by Jessica G, who stayed in April 2011
Paris in winter
The hotel is very good placed, near two metro stations, at 3 minutes from the OPERA and LA FAYETTE GALERIES. It's clean and people working there is very kind and always available for all necessities.
Good place to stay with friends. Surely I will return! Reviewed by ERIKA O, who stayed in December 2010

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. They spoke both French and English and were happy to provide maps, directions, bus routes etc. The room was of a good size with a nice bathroom and a tv. The rooms were cleaned every day by the cleaner and the lift was useful as well! Overall a very pleasant stay right in the centre of Paris. Reviewed by Claire L, who stayed in November 2010
simple good value
The room is small as many in Paris but clean, a comfortable bed and reasonable breakfast for the price. The area is not so quiet so a room higher than the first floor might be good for light sleepers. Reviewed by Mark W, who stayed in September 2010
