Hotel Eurpoe
Nice hotel and staff very helpful. Parking is restricted at the hotel and on street parking is hard to find locally. The hotel is on the outskirts of Paris but reasonably close to a Metro. The reception is modern and the hotel has good facilities. There are plenty of restaurants close to the hotel, but the cafes seem more for the locals. Reviewed by Wayne D, who stayed in March 2011
Great staff
Stayed in hotel for 3 days while and the staff there were great, really nice and friendly. Room was small but very clean along with the bathroom also very clean and tidy. Got snowed in one day and restaurant straight outside the door was also quite nice so was very handy. Would stay again. Reviewed by S Kidd, who stayed in December 2010
Pleasant stay
Although the hotel is a bit out of town, this does mean the surrounding resteraunts are much better value than in town. The hotel itself was clean (especially the bathroom!) and had friendly and helpful staff. Reviewed by Peter D, who stayed in October 2010
Excellent value for the facilities
This hotel is tucked away just outside the Peripherique to the North West of Paris on the way to Clichy. It's a bit far from the nearest Metro station (10-15 minute walk) but the attraction is that it has a indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi, and I don't know any other hotel in Paris that has one for this price. Once you have found the Metro station (on Line 13 at Mairie de Clichy) it's within 25 minutes of the centre of Paris. The room was a little small but adequate - the bathroom was huge with a full sized bath - and free WiFi!. Reviewed by Keith Dickerson, who stayed in October 2010
Not bad for a short stay!
Starting with the good points-
Really nice, helpful staff.
Great location for metro- straight into central paris.
Afew bad points though :( -
Had high hopes for the swimming pool and jacuzzi but it was rather poorly maintained- jacuzzi cold and smelt abit damp.
Continental pbreakfast was v.expensive at 10 euro er person per night. Reviewed by C Beckett, who stayed in October 2010
Pleasant stay in Paris
Hotel Europe is a lovely little hotel well situated for touring Paris. The metro station is close which is great. Friendly helpful staff. The breakfast was excellent. The room was comfortable but definitely in need of renovation. Spa looked nice but unfortunately didn't manage to use it as we spent most of our time in the city. I felt the price we paid of over a 100 euros per night was a bit high but saying that Paris is generally an expensive city. Reviewed by Herbert I, who stayed in June 2010
