Good value great location, no heating!
The hotel represents fantastic value for money in the heart of Paris. The room we stayed in was very small, but adequate, the concierge was polite. I would fault only on the lack of heating, not the quietest of rooms, as the hotels backs onto a train line. The hotel is five minutes form the Tower, and on a main shopping street. Don't expect the four seasons but good basic and functional. Message me for more info. carsonalex336@yahoo.com Reviewed by A Carson, who stayed in December 2010
Perfect SItuation
We had no complaints about this hotel as we knew in advance what we were getting; small, clean room with a little balcony, tiny en-suite with a shower, quiet ambience and nicely situated in a good area with easy access to two metro stations (which in turn afforded really easy links with airport, mainline stations etc). We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel as there are a variety of good patisseries nearby (one next door). The area around the hotel feels quite safe and there are a selection of small shops, bars and restaurants on the dooorstep. In summary, it was perfect for us as we didn't intend spending much time in the hotel so had no need for any of the facilities which larger (and more expensive!) hotels would offer - we would definitely use again. Avoid if you can
Avoid! I paid 108 euros when I booked online - arriving at hotel I could see their price list in the reception - the price for the room should have been 78 euros!
Room was terrible - I could hear metro trains going underneath.
Breakfast pretty poor as well. There are definitely much better hotels in the area for much better price. Reviewed by Uldis F, who stayed in October 2010
