Excellent customer service - very accommodating of a sick guest who needed to stay in bed to the last minute - well after check-out time. Excellent restaurant recommendations too.
Not walking distance from any of the main attractions, but compared to staying in the centre of Paris the extra ten minutes on the metro are worth it for a room where you can walk round the bed and such good front desk service.

Le Fabe Hotel
Hotel staff Max & Philipe were excellent. So helpful. We were initially very disappointed when we arrived to find that although we had booked 2 hotel rooms, there had been an error by someone at the hotel and only one room had been booked. The hotel was booked out so Max organised for my sister and I to stay at another hotel down the road for one night while my parents stayed in the hotel. Then we moved to the hotel the next day. The replacement hotel was certainly no where near as nice. The Le Fabe Hotel was clean and the rooms were pleasant with spacious bathrooms. Would have been brilliant if our booking had been correct. However, as mentioned the staff really went out of their way to help us with everything we needed so that helped make up for it. The hotel is a couple of stops further out that the main central area but we didn't find this a problem and it's only a couple of minutes walk from Pernety metro station. Le Fabe is Le Fab !
Le Fabe is in a part of town that is the real Paris that is authentically Paris. Great location for bars/bistros/eating places and situated near two Metro stations so you can get where you need fast, easy to travel to any of the famous locations near Paris. The hotel is a small marvel, its got everything you need, rooms have free wifi (useful for travellers), AC, tv with english channels, rooms are modern with comfortable beds and bathrooms have great showers and look top notch. I could not fault this place for comfort, service and location, if you get it on a deal snap it up ! Will be back again ! Reviewed by N Bains, who stayed in July 2010
