Overall the majority of staff very polite and friendly. Leave plenty of time for check out as we encountered a very slow night front of house man. Reviewed by Beth H, who stayed in February 2012
An excellent hotel. Perfect position - Welcoming staff..
I know Paris well and wanted to be in this area. I had researched reviews and prices and am fairly experienced in "reading between the lines". So we were pleased to find everything as hoped for and ill certainly remember the hotel for other visits.
The room was fine (maybe a bit of attention need to the basin - the plug didn't work!) but room 26 was quiet, comfortable nd good value.
It is an easy walk to the Ile de France and the St Michel metro station.
Rue Mouffetard for little restaurants is only 15 minutes walk and the Marais too.
This was an excellent experience. Reviewed by Christopher Cain, who stayed in January 2012
Plastic/rubber mattress covers made for an
unpleasant, sweaty nights sleep. I thought a
hotel chain like Melia would know better. Reviewed by E Hardy, who stayed in December 2011

Nice hotel in great spot in central Paris. Room small, but comfortable. Hotel staff helpful, but we didn't eat in hotel. There are plenty of cafe's around for breakfast and dinner. Reviewed by A Clark, who stayed in October 2011

This is a well situated hotel within the district. The front desk staff is very professional and helpful. The rooms are a bit small but clean and well furnished. The hotel offers broadband which is great if needing a good internet connection for work. Thank you to the hotel for a pleasant stay. Reviewed by Thomas N, who stayed in February 2011
Fantastic location but terrible bathroom
I stayed in a superior room which was nice and spacious, with a very comfortable double bed. The reception staff were very helpful, and everything was as expected for a four star hotel. My only problem was that the bathroom was something out of the seventies with red marble and gilt mirrors which did not match the rest of the room. The bath was hidden behind a wall with poor lighting - you had to shower in semi darkness, and the taps constantly leaked. Reviewed by L Livett, who stayed in December 2010
Great location.
Nice hotel with excellent location opposite Ile de Cite and Notre Damme. Breakfast is extortionately expensive at 28 euros so don't bother. Room is good although air con did not work or was switched off. Bathroom small but well equipped with plenty of towels. Hotel was in process of being re-decorated and therefore a lot of paint smells and wet paint. Colleague had room overlooking entrance and was noisy all night as many deliveries. However, rooms overlooking Notre Damme are quiet. Too expensive to stay again I think but nice hotel. Reviewed by Jan D, who stayed in November 2010
