Relais Spa Chessy
The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and very pleasant. The room was absolutely lovely. We really enjoyed our stay there, wish we could have stayed longer. Reviewed by l pattison, who stayed in March 2012
Few Points Missing
Its £15 Euro s to Disney by cab. They could give you some teabags and coffee each day we got none
found a good few restaurants behind the hotel, I would look elsewhere before going back, not saying its a bad hotel but they are missing things, service mainly Reviewed by Richard P, who stayed in March 2012
Pretty good for Disney
We had a great stay in a family suite which was less than half price through laterooms. The hotel is 3 minutes on the trian from Disneyland and has a huge mall nearby where breakfast and supplies for packed lunches make for a real saving on sky high food costs at the park. Staff are curt but a little aloof in the way that we have found Relais staff to be across the world. Reviewed by B Mitchell, who stayed in December 2011
really depressing
nobody to help with bags, nobody helped the struggling wheelchair - bound man with the lift, right infront of two male staff at reception, no baby cot in room despite request, reception annoyed when we asked and went through booking trying to prove that we hadn't ordered - we had. Tried to add another 10 euros to the 500 euros already charged for two nights for said cot, the cot then dumped in our room - wasn't even put up. Requested room service which supposed to finish at 10.30, we rang at 10.10 and were told that the kitchen had closed and to get lost. One lonely teabag and two tiny pots of UHT milk in a room for 4 people - requested some more so that we could at least have a cup of tea - none appeared. No swimming pool - being built next year, no spa that I could see either inspite of the name.
Room fine, quite well laid out, comfortable bed and clean but the place has the allure of a bus stop and is as welcoming as a prison. Wish I had stayed anywhere else and at 500 euros that is galling. Reviewed by nicole h, who stayed in July 2011

The Pros and Cons of Hotel if taking a Disney Holiday
My wife and I took our son to the Relais SPA Chessy for 3 nights after Christmas but before until New Years day 2011. Overall I would say our stay was enjoyable and the hotel was a good clean place to stay. Our son is 6 and very active and we booked on boxing day so this break was a last minute idea, with all the disney hotels booked or really expensive. I will just give what we found to be the good and bad points.
Good Points - very new hotel and quality of common areas, and your rooms are every bit as the photos on their web site. We thought our standard room would look different to the nice ones on the web site, but they are all very high quality and also have a nice small kitchen, so you can take a walk to the supermarket and bring back food to eat for dinner and breakfast. This can save a lot of money given the cost of food at Disney Parks! 2 x toilets in the rooms, and we had a Junior Suite, which basically has a seperate double room, with the main bathroom off the bedroom, then a corridor which leads in to the place and toilet off that corridor. The best way to discribe the room is a 1 Bed Flat, with open plan kitchen living area (this is where the sofa / bed is the second bedroom). You are based in a place called Val Europe and they have the most amazing Mall with shops that go on for ever. Also inside is a large 2 storey supermarket that sells everything (and i mean everything, food, appliances, everything you find in a house is sold here) This is also where the Sealife centre is, although we did not go as we have been to the one in London. The Mall is a 5 mintue walk from the hotel.
The hotel has a really nice bar, and whilst we were there it was empty all the time. I think the Hotel is very quite, and even at this hieght of the Christmas break, the hotel was not busy.
Cons - well I guess every family can find faults. Ours were: no english satelite TV (all French speaking channels), kitchen has cuttlery and dishwasher, but you do not get anything to wash or dry the dishes with so you need to go buy tea towel and washing liquid from the supermarket. The Wifi in our room kept losing connection every couple of minuites. Breakfast not included in price and cost is 15 euro each adult, so we brought and made our breakfast in the rooms. No shuttle bus run to Disney Parks, and a Cab is 10 Euro. We were told to walk to the train station and it is a 2 min ride. The station is 3min from Hotel and return tickets are 3.30 Euro each adult and 1.60 Euro per child. SPA is not on site but you are taken to it if you use that. We did not use it.
All in all you will be pleased with the accomidation, but you are not on the door step of Disney like if you were at one of the Disney Hotels. We liked that fact, as you felt like you were staying in a local area.
