"After reading reviews before staying at this hotel I was a little worried. However, I was pleasently surprised.
We arrived at CDG airport at 7am in the morning and as we could not check in till 3pm we decided to purchase a 'one day travel pass' zone 1-6'. This allowed us to get from CDG to Paris (leave our luggage at Gard De Nord Station lockers (4-9 Euros) )and stay a few hours sightseeing before making our way to our hotel for 3pm. From Paris we took the train to Chessy (Euro Disney) as this was the closest station. Once we arrived at Chessy we could have taken a number 43 bus to the hotel but as we were not too sure we took a taxi (15 Euros) to the hotel.
We were given a spacious and clean family room on the first floor (Double bed and sofa bed). Table and 4 chairs, TV. Read the instruction on how to open up the sofa bed before you attempt it!
Kitchen area had a fridge freezer and microwave, pan, cutlery and crockery. You might want to bring a tea towel and washing up liquid as not provided.
Two vending machines on ground floor with sandwiches, snacks and drinks only half full. Hotel has no resturant so we popped on a bus using our travel pass ( or 1 Euro 80 cents)and went to 'Valley Europe' shopping centre. Bus stop is less then 2 min walk from hotel and bus drivers happy to let you know when to get off and pick up bus later. Journey took about 8 mins. Shopping centre has all the usual chain store shops and a huge supermarket for you to stock up on snacks, drinks etc....
Breakfast in the morning is served from 7.30 - 10am in a very small room on the first floor. As it was so busy we were informed that we could take our breakfast back to our room, which suited us. Coissants, pain au chocolat, french bread stick, cereals, jams, nutella, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, yoghurts. No fruit, ham or cheeses so worth purchasing from supermarket to make up sandwiches for your day.
Eurodisney can be reached by no 43 bus (2 Euros) or taxi (15 Euros) or there is a hotel shuttle bus (5 Euros per room each way). It is important that you book your space on the shuttle bus at least a day before as it leaves every half hour from 9am - 10.30 am and returns from 6pm - 10.30pm and gets booked up really quickly. The driver does drive fast, but maybe that is how all drives in France drive?
You can rent from reception an iron, hair dryer, kettle and a coffe machine (deposit 20 Euros).
Has a gym but cant comment on as didnt use it and also has an outfoor pool but was not open so can not also comment on.
This hotel was perfect for my family and I. We could not have asked for a better 3 star hotel. If we wanted more then what we recieved then we would have booked a higher rated star hotel!!
