"My friend and I went to Paris to attend Rock en Seine music festival 2011. For the price we paid the hotel was good. The room was fairly small but clean with all appliances working. I would say hostel standard though rather than hotel. 10 minutes walking distance from the nearest metro, although appeared to be a slightly dodgy area, i wouldnt advise walking alone at night down Boulevard Jean-Jaures - but to be expected in a suburb of a city as large as paris. The metro took about 20 minutes to get to the centre of paris even less to get to attractions such as the eiffel tower. So if your looking just for a bed and somewhere to sleep while your in paris this place is perfect. The staff seemed friendly enough although they werent very attentative when we arrived. The only downside that we had about this hotel is that you have to hand your room key in every time you leave the hotel?! ive never experienced this before in any hotel or hostel ive stayed in. Although the desk is supposed to be 24 hours sometimes we were left at the door ringing for ages to get let in, and as too young girls attending a music festival returning at around 12 each night we really wanted to get in as quickly as possible rather than being left on the doorstep until someone could come let us in.
All round an ok hotel for the price, but i dont think I would stay again. Would recommend for festival goers and travellers."
