Nice for a quick stay
The hotel was pleasant and good value for money, we paid 280 in total for two people for two nights and its about right i.e. I wouldnt pay more than this. The hotel is easy to find if you follow the map properly. The area is nice but it is very near to the "red light" area of the city so be sure not to get lost, especially at night if you are carrying your baggage with you. Go to the Saint George Metro stop and its two minutes walk away. Great place for a few nights in Paris. Its safe and the staff are friendly. Reviewed by J Lynch, who stayed in September 2011
Australians in Paris
My husband and I, who reside in Western Australia, were visiting England, but from there went to Paris for a few days at the last minute, to meet up with friends who had arrived there from Australia. They had booked another hotel in Montmartre well in advance, which was booked out, but I found the Trinite Hotel in the same area, on the internet at the Late Rooms site, and choose it because it had 8 good reviews already. I would highly recommend this hotel. It was clean, comfortable, not expensive and close to everything Montmartre has to offer tourists.. The only thing I would have liked in the room was tea and coffee making facilities. Reviewed by M Gearing, who stayed in August 2011
Convenient and comfortable
For those wishing to explore Paris on foot, the hotel is very well located between Montmartre and the Louvre (North-South) and between the Gare du Nord and the Gare St Lazare (East-West), so the central attractions are all easily accessible. We are not youngsters but we managed to walk to the Louvre, even in very warm weather, and on to the Musee D'Orsay across the river. It was a very easy walk to the Gare St Lazare for an early train to Vernon for Giverny. The hotel is less handy for the Metro, but that should not be a major negative factor. The hotel is reasonably presented for its price and reasonably quiet if you have a room (as we did) on the side cul-de-sac which has no traffic. We did not have breakfast there so cannot comment on the food. All in all a good base. Reviewed by Keith Norman, who stayed in July 2011
