Lovely Stay
We stayed at the Dream Castle for 3 nights (bnb) for my daughters birthday and the stay was very nice. The cooked breakfast was minging but there was plenty of other options which was good. I asked the hotel before I travelled which was the best method of transport from the airport to the hotel and they suggested that I used their taxi service which worked out to be 105 euros but my partner chose to take us on the train from the airport directly into disneyland which cost 41 euros for all 3 of us then we got the free bus from the train station to our hotel. I thought the hotel was slightly naughty for not giving us all options rather than the most expensive! The lady on reception was very nice when we checked in so I thought I would be cheeky and asked if they could do anything special for my little girls birthday and she explained I could have a birthday meal (but after reading up on the food reviews I didnt fancy that) so she explained that she could get mickey mouse over to say happy birthday to my little girl, bearing in mind it was 10:45pm my daughter was getting ratty all we wanted to do was go to bed so the lady said she would put a message on my account and we could do it the next day which I thought was lovely. We went to reception the next day and a different lady behind reception said it was no longer possible so I was a bit naffed off at that point. We only really slept at the hotel as we were out all day and night at the parks, it was a lovely clean hotel and i would stay there again. As with anywhere abroad the food is a bit iffy sdo we took pot noodles just incase we didnt like the food but disney village have mc donalds, planet hollywood etc so theres plenty of choice for everyone :) Reviewed by Valerie M, who stayed in April 2012
Our trip to Disneyland
Very clean hotel with friendly staff.Good shuttle service to the park. The kids loved the bunk beds in the family room. Everyone was impressed on arrival with the hotel lobby and as a previous reviewer had posted there was a lovely scent of bubble gum in the air. The desk staff were friendly and if you want to try your French they are more than happy to speak with you in French and turn to English if you get stuck! The pool if small in comparison to the size of the hotel. If you have forgotten your swimming costumes you can buy some from the vending machine! All in all a very nice hotel for a family stay. Reviewed by Thomas Kirkpatrick, who stayed in April 2012
Family Friendly Fun!
We stayed for one night at the Dream Castle as a base to visit Disney. Our room was ready for ther 3 pm check in and the hotel was suprisingly quiet (as it was half term week). After exploring the lobby (there are ride on toys and games etc and a Disney shop) we unloaded at the room and then went for a swim. Lovely pool area, again nice and quiet until about 4.30 pm when the rain started and families started to come home early from Disney! We booked in for the buffet dinner in the evening which was open from 6.30 to 10.30 pm, quite pricey at 30 euro per adult and 10 euro per child (it would have been 34 and 12 if we hadn't booked in advance) but I have to say it was worth it, loads of choice, good quality and all you could eat, the bottle of wine and beers we had also werent too expensive either when you compared it with eating out generally in France.
We went for a drink in the bar area afterwards, really nice friendly atmosphere (kids fresh from the shower and in their PJs!) the only criticism here was there were not enough bar staff and it was a long wait at the bar.
Buffet breakfast in the morning was again really good with plenty of choice. All in all an excellent base for exploring Disney and my 6 year old loved it, especially the bunk beds and the pool. Reviewed by Marian H, who stayed in February 2012
Lack of Detail
A nice hotel very close to Disney. The room was fantastic, can't fault it. However the corridors leav a bit to be desired, they were not hoovered the 2 days we were there and they were bad! The breakfast was the usual foriegn english breakfast interpretation....deep fried bacon, hot dog sausages and scrambled egg! Come on it's not hard to cook an english breakfast, especially when a large proportion of your guests are English and if you are going to bother doing an English breakfast, put the effort in! In most cases the Breakfast is the last impression of the hotel and on this occassion it's not a good one! Reviewed by Peter W, who stayed in January 2012
excellent hotel for visiting disney, shuttle service outstanding very accessible.
lovely clean hotel, spacious rooms, if your a serious swimmer the pool is small, although spa facilities etc are excellent! Reviewed by j turney, who stayed in December 2011
EuroDisney visit
Stayed for one night as part of a three day two night trip to the Disney parks. Compared to the Hotel Cheyenne this really is a Dream Castle. Quality furnishings, quality bed and bunk beds... curtain to section off the bunk beds was a good idea too. Same experience with the tepid/ cool hot breakfast offering as many other posts on here I'm afraid to say. Reviewed by Matthew W, who stayed in November 2011
great room very poor and cold breakfast
free upgrade to a suite upon arrival set a very good tone, however prior to departure the breakfast ruined the complete experience. All the hot food was cold. Scrabled eggs cold bacon cold, some sort of baked beans cold. chefs told me to use the microwave (not exactly good advice to put scambled eggs into a microwave as out comes an omelette) the pool and jacuzzi was great. there appeared to be a distinct lack of luggage trollies, porters did not exist, and room service is only until 11pm? strange for a four star hotel. on the whole we would not rebook here, this would be due to teh shocking breakfast the lack of staff and the lack of luggage trollies. A Fabulous, Family Friendly Hotel
Have just returned from 3 days/2 nights at Disneyland Paris staying at the Dream Castle Hotel. Our experience of the hotel was first class, from the candy floss sweetness smell that greets you when you walk into the lobby to the wonderful Swimming pool to the amazing family rooms. Our children ( 4 and 2 ) loved all of the rides in the lobby and although they were expensive at 2 euros a ride our kids were just happy to sit on them and pretend to ride. The rooms were so clean and lived up to all our expectations. Our kids were not that keen on the buffet food served in the restaurant in the evening and at 10 euros for kids and 29 euros for adults it is a little pricey, however we ordered room service the following night and again although a little pricey the portions were huge and both the kids and my husband and I were able to share a meal which meant that the cost was around 40 euros with soft drinks included. Much more reasonable. I would recommend this hotel 100%. Reviewed by L East, who stayed in March 2011
